Roasting

Lazy Sunday is light roast that is pleasant to taste. It softens and transforms into warm to your senses. The cocoa flavors from Latin America smooth the brew while Africa adds citrus notes to add balance. The result is a drink that is a great drink by itself, or paired with milk chocolate or cake. It can also be paired with lemon drizzle cakes or vanilla sponges well.

When making this coffee, we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel with some off the boiling water to ensure that it stays warm and ready to brew. After the brewing process, let the coffee steep for four minutes. This will ensure that the grounds have been saturated and are not over-extracted. The water should be moved through the grounds using the plunger. Do not stir or stir the coffee, this can result in unpleasant components in your cup.

Strength - 3 is gentle and easygoing, ideal for lazy weekends.

Storage

Lazy Sunday is a soft light roast with citrus, sweet and cocoa aroma. It has a smooth, caressing mouthfeel. The cocoa-like notes can be traced back to a winters day sat on the sofa with a good book and a hug from the family. To brew your coffee, first heat up your French Press with off boil water. This will stop the coffee from becoming over extracted and creating undesirable elements in your drink. Then add your grounds and 250ml of off the boil water. For 4 minutes, simmer, plunge and enjoy.
